For the past few months I have been working on a book with the John Martin Gallery . The book is an overview of my work to date. It has been a huge project and as we are getting closer to finishing I realise how much insight I have gained from writing texts and reviewing images of my work. Never before have I taken such a close yet objective and distant look at my work. It felt like flying an aeroplane over the past 20 years of my life. Patterns and themes that are winding their way through my work and life were becoming apparent. Yet, it's turning out to be not so much a backward glance but more an opening into new ideas, renewed momentum and excitement about what's around the corner.

The book will be published to coincide with the opening of my new show The Wolf of Eyelash Mountain.
